Peterbilt's flagship aerodynamic on-highway tractor
The Peterbilt Model 579 is Peterbilt's flagship aerodynamic on-highway tractor, engineered for maximum fuel efficiency, driver comfort and uptime across long-haul, regional and team operations. Standard with the PACCAR MX-13 engine and available with the PACCAR Powertrain package, the 579 delivers up to a 10 % fuel-economy advantage over previous generations while offering the industry-leading Peterbilt SmartLINQ connected-vehicle platform.

The New Icon of the Road — successor to the legendary 389
The Peterbilt Model 589 is the successor to the iconic Model 389 — Peterbilt's long-nose, set-forward-axle flagship. The 589 preserves the classic Peterbilt styling that drivers and owner-operators recognize on sight, while adding a redesigned interior, updated driver ergonomics, the PACCAR MX-13 engine, the SmartLINQ connected-vehicle platform and modern safety features. Production of the 389 ended in 2024; the 589 is its production replacement.

Versatile heavy-duty vocational truck
The Peterbilt Model 567 is Peterbilt's heavy-duty vocational truck — engineered for dump, mixer, logging, heavy-haul, oilfield and refuse-support applications. Built on a heavy-duty chassis with set-forward or set-back front-axle options, the 567 accepts the PACCAR MX-13 or Cummins X15, front axles up to 22,000 lb, and multi-axle configurations up to 62,000 lb rear.

Low cab-forward refuse chassis
The Peterbilt Model 520 is a purpose-built low cab-forward chassis engineered for the refuse and recycling industry. The 520's low step-in height, dual-drive-position cab and superior forward visibility are designed for the constant in-and-out operation of curbside refuse routes. Available with the PACCAR MX-11 or Cummins L9, and offered as the all-electric 520EV for zero-emissions municipal fleets.

Zero-emissions Class 8 regional highway tractor
The Peterbilt Model 579EV is the all-electric version of the Model 579 — a Class 8 battery-electric tractor engineered for regional haul and drayage. Powered by dual electric motors and a lithium-ion battery pack, the 579EV delivers full Class 8 GCW capability with zero tailpipe emissions and dramatically lower operating noise.

All-electric low cab-forward refuse truck
The Peterbilt Model 520EV is the all-electric version of the 520 low cab-forward refuse chassis — engineered for zero-emissions municipal residential refuse routes. Battery-electric powertrain, dual-drive-position cab, and the same body interfaces as the diesel 520 mean the 520EV drops directly into existing refuse routes with existing bodies.

Battery-electric medium-duty urban delivery truck
The Peterbilt Model 220EV is a battery-electric medium-duty (Class 6/7) cabover truck engineered for urban delivery, last-mile and municipal applications. Based on the proven Model 220 platform, the 220EV delivers zero tailpipe emissions, quiet operation and low operating cost for urban duty cycles.
